We couldn’t be happier to welcome Covalent to the Moralis Avalanche Hackathon!
Covalent – Official Moralis Avalanche Hackathon Partner
We at Moralis are thrilled to formally announce that we are partnering with Covalent for the Moralis Avalanche Hackathon! As you may know, the Moralis Avalanche Hackathon will start on Monday, 6th of December, and submissions are due on the 31st of January, 2022. What’s more, the total hackathon prize pool is already over $350,000 and keeps climbing.
Just the top three prizes, which participants must use Moralis and Avalanche to qualify for, total over $100,000. Moreover, other partners will set their own bounties, which will all be revealed when the hackathon starts on December 6th. As such, there has never been a better incentive to show off your dev skills and to build a dApp, DeFi project, or Web3 app using Moralis and Avalanche!
The rules for the hackathon are simple. Simply form a team, make sure to register it at the official Moralis Avalanche Hackathon site, and you’ll receive an email with all the necessary instructions. Following this, you simply have to build your project, and make sure to submit this to us before the January 31st deadline. The dApps that qualify for the main prize pool will be judged according to five criteria; their Execution, Impact, Design, Creativity, and Utility.
”We can’t wait to see what developers are going to build with our and Covalent’s tools,” said Ivan on Tech, Co-Founder of Moralis. ”The Moralis Avalanche Hackathon is a brilliant opportunity for developers to showcase their skills and it makes perfect sense for us to partner with Covalent for it.”

About Covalent
Covalent is a large-scale data aggregator, which helps to make sense of blockchain network data. Covalent features support for leading blockchain platforms, like Ethereum, Avalanche and Polygon. More specifically, Covalent converts hundreds of billions of blockchain-based data points into actionable insights. This allows developers to more efficiently allocate resources in their development process, and to get better oversight of the blockchain ecosystem.
Covalent gathers all this data from numerous sources, including chains, smart contracts, nodes, and data feeds. The Covalent API, which Moralis will launch full support for during the hackathon, allows developers to access all this indexed data through a single accessible API.

What’s more, Moralis’ capable NFT API allows developers to create an NFT marketplace, get into NFT game development, and much, much more. Beyond this, Moralis allows developers to do virtually anything they want – from connecting to Polygon nodes, build a DEX, or create Avalanche dApps.
