The 2021 Moralis Hackathon has a total prize pool of $50,000 and is open for anyone to join who wants to build Web3 applications or dApps with Moralis’ revolutionary Web3 backend tools.
”This is a great opportunity for us at ParaSwap, and we couldn’t be happier about taking part in a hackathon like this to help encourage the dev community. Quite simply, Moralis is the way Web3 apps and dApps should be built, and it’s great to be a part of that,” said Mounir Benchemled, Founder of ParaSwap.
”Joining forces with ParaSwap for the 2021 Moralis Hackathon was a no-brainer for us at Moralis,” commented Ivan on Tech, Founder of Moralis. ”Our technology, in combination with ParaSwap’s, opens up really exciting opportunities for developers to transform the way they build Web3 apps.”
The 2021 Moralis Hackathon is open for anyone interested to enter now, and it will run until June 15th. Following its June 15th deadline, a jury will evaluate the different projects entered in the hackathon and appoint three winners. The team that comes in first place will receive the 2021 Moralis Hackathon’s grand prize of $30,000. The project that comes in second place, on the other hand, will receive an award of $15,000. Lastly, the team that comes in third will win $5,000.
Moralis is an innovative backend solution for anyone looking to easily and quickly build Web3 applications or dApps. Put simply, Moralis allows developers to focus on the frontend. During the hackathon, Moralis provides a free, fully managed, and infinitely scalable backend infrastructure solution for building Web3 apps.
ParaSwap Hackathon Use Case Examples
Anyone who enters the 2021 Moralis Hackathon is entirely free to build whatever project they want to build. The only requirement for teams entering the hackathon is to use Moralis to build their Web3 app or dApp. With that said, however, we do highly encourage hackathon participants to build projects with our official partners, like ParaSwap, specifically in mind. Our official partners have great technologies just waiting to be utilized.

What is ParaSwap?
ParaSwap is a decentralized middleware that simplifies the global exchange of value by facilitating token trades on the Ethereum mainnet, on Polygon, and other protocols. ParaSwap brings optimized transactions to all DeFi users, including dApps, at the best market price. Specifically, ParaSwap deals with aggregating and structuring liquidity from various decentralized exchanges (DEXs). As such, ParaSwap is able to compare and offer the most competitive rates.
Pooling the liquidity from numerous DEXs in a single API, like ParaSwap’s, offers a simple and intuitive developer experience. What’s more, ParaSwap even features support for splitting an order without the developer having to worry about the logistics behind it. In addition to this, ParaSwap has support for a variety of different functions, such as Swap and Swap Transfer.
